There are a growing number of resources to help retirees and their families deal with the issues of retirement and aging.

The sites listed below* will link you to a pool of resources to help with serious issues as well as fun activities.

The Senior Source - TI for many years has helped support this worthwhile local organization, which serves many individuals in the Dallas area through programs that include: Elder Support, Women's Financial Clinic, Senior Employment Source, RSVP: Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, and Nursing Home Ombudsman Program. Collin County Senior Services Network - Comprehensive directory of local, state and national information for seniors.

Family Caregivers Online - As a service of the Area Agencies on Aging, this site provides education and resources for caregivers of older adults.

Senior Adult Services - Metrocrest cities of Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Farmers Branch. Information on care-giving, recreation, support groups, and more. 
 


American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) - One of the oldest and largest organizations of retirees in the US, their web site provides a large number of resources - whether a member of AARP or not.

Consumer Information - Your official source for consumer information (product safety, health, food, and more) from the US Government.

Consumer Reports - The on-line version of Consumer Reports magazine - a handy guide in the search for value.
