TI's annual Tech Smart Big Heart "On My Own
Time" Employee Art Show, is fast approaching. TI
employees, retirees, contractors and spouses
have been
encouraged to participate in this year's show.
 The
competition includes 10 categories,
each with a professional and an amateur
division. Categories include: works on canvas;
black and white photography; color photography;
enhanced photography; works on paper; sculpture
and ceramics; crafts and mixed media; computer
art; fiber art; and jewelry.
Creativity on display
The works will be displayed
from July 30 to Aug. 17 at the South Campus in
Dallas. A panel of outside judges will determine
category and "Best of Show" winners, and TI
employees will select the winner of the
"People's Choice Award."
All first-place winners, "Best
of Show" and "People's Choice"" selections will
then appear in a citywide exhibition at
NorthPark Center in Dallas, coordinated by the
North Texas Business for Culture and the Arts.
