For more than 40 years, the TI Foundation
has been matching employee and retiree donations
to qualified education and arts & culture
nonprofit organizations. The minimum donation
matched is $50, up to a maximum of $10,000 for
education and another $10,000 for the arts each
year.
Match your
volunteer time with money
TI
employees and retirees in the U.S. can now match
the volunteer hours they give to charitable
organizations with a monetary donation from the
TI Foundation.
By participating in the
new TI Foundation Volunteer Incentive Program
(VIP), the TI Foundation will make a
contribution of $250 to an eligible nonprofit
organization for every 20 hours volunteered, up
to $1,000 per year. Eligible organizations are
nonprofit, charitable organizations and K-12
schools, colleges and universities in the U.S.
or its territories.
“We are excited to offer this
new volunteer program, which many TIers have
requested,” said Andy Smith, TI director of
corporate philanthropy.
“In addition to
helping direct TI Foundation dollars to those
nonprofit organizations that employees and
retirees care about the most, this program gives
employees the opportunity to boost the positive
impact they make when they volunteer their time
to support their local communities.”
Volunteer hours registration
The TI Foundation VIP operates on a calendar
year (January 1 through December 31). Final
submission of grant requests must be made by
March 31 of the following year.
