number of alumni groups and networks have been in
existence for years, largely as social organizations.
This section of the TI Alumni website is devoted to the support of
all alumni organizations, providing information on activities and contacts.
Some of these organizations may have their own websites, in which
case links are provided. Some groups may want to place additional information on this site, and
we will work with them to provide broad dissemination.
The following groups usually meet as shown below. Call or email
contact person to confirm schedule. To add or update a listing, contact

Apparatus Retirees — breakfast meeting on 3rd Wednesday of every month at IHOP Pancake House (LBJ
& Centerville Road), beginning at 8:30 a.m. Contact: Martha or Heuer,

- Austin Alumni Lunch — annual reunion on first Monday in December

Austin Retiree Club — Membership in TI-ARC is open to all
former Austin TI employees, not just retirees. Dinner meetings are held

- Dallas Area GSIers get together for lunch at 11:30 a.m. on
the third Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral, 1440 E. Campbell

- Dallas Semiconductor General Products — the third
reunion of the General Products Department was held on May 14, 2005.

- GSI — Bill Boettcher set up and maintains the
GSINET web page,
which has news about GSIers, GSI reunions, etc. GSI was the original company
from which TI developed, and was sold to Halliburton in 1989.
- Houston Retiree Club — meets monthly at the America Buffet,
12815 Southwest Freeway, Stafford, TX — 11 a.m. Lunch on the 3rd
Wednesday of every month (except for December, which is on the 2nd
