Interpretive Naturalist Volunteer

Being an interpretive naturalist volunteer at Cedar Ridge Preserve will give you the opportunity to share your love for and knowledge of nature with others.  Ongoing training will supply relevant natural history information and arm you with presentation (interpretive) techniques to help make field trips effective, memorable experiences.  A volunteer needs to be reasonably fit and have good people skills.  Groups will primarily be grade school children, and group sizes will generally be around 8-10 per volunteer.  A weekly commitment would be ideal, but less is acceptable.
